Barite

Barite derives from Greek Derivation "Barys" means heavy because its specific gravity is 4.2 - 4.5. Chemical formula is BaSO4, comprising of Barium (Ba) 58.8% and Iron Sulfate (SO4) 41.2%.                                                  

Utilization                         

Barite has been utilized in many industries such as :                            

  1. Petroleum industry uses barite powder as major raw material for making drilling mud by mixing barite powder with water and other material in order to explore underground resources such as oil drilling, natural gas, and groundwater drilling which use drilling mud for lubrication, cooling drilling head and rod, pluging hole in drilling wall, preventing collapsing, and controlling pressure of gas and crude oil.                            
  2. Brick and tile manufacturing industries use barite to protect sweat stain, reduce porosity, and sustain color.                            
  3. Other industries such as plastic industry, rubber industry, paint industry, and concrete industry etc. mix barite with ingredients to increase mass and weight to products.                            

                            
Packaging                  

The company arranges packaging according to the customers' requirement. Currently, there are 2 kinds of packaging as follows :                            

  1. Big Bag 1.5 MT (Size : width 95 cm. x length 95 cm. x height 100 cm.)                            
  2. Small Bag 25 kg.  (Size : width 18 iches x length 30 iches)  Small bags can be packed into 1 MT big bag for convenient transportation.
